Emily started The Social Boffin in 2016, using her social media expertise and training to support businesses around the world. She soon realised her personal goal was to travel and see the world. In 2018 Emily bravely started her nomadic journey. The business thrived and due to the nature of her online business she enjoyed the freedom of working from fabulous locations around the world – who wouldn’t want to be working on a Thai beach?!
Then COVID-19 arrived and being in the far east at the time Emily felt the impact sooner than many. Returning to the UK Emily found herself reflecting – like many others – on her personal journey. Despite living her dream Emily realised the actual work she was doing was not providing her with personal satisfaction.
With the extra time, space and emotional freedom Lockdown has provided, Emily has taken the decision to engage in work that she is passionate about and makes a real difference, and has launched ‘The Good Mental Health Toolbox’.
