Lucy ‘The Lawyer Who Listens’ worked tirelessly to build up her business and was just starting to feel established when COVID-19 hit. Being a specialist in Property, Wills and Powers of Attorney, her business was severely hit when house sales were put on hold.
Having made a recent personal change and now living on her own Lucy faced additional challenges in Lockdown and it wasn’t easy.
However, it is often during the difficult times that inner strength shines through and this was definitely the case for Lucy. She used the extra time she found herself with to reconnected with old friends, something that had often been missed when working all hours to establish her business.
She reflected on her work/life ratio and made positive changes, taking up golf to get out, enjoy nature and fresh air, plus it improved her mental and physical fitness.
She found more time to spend with friends and family and also recognised the people most important to her – those that positively influenced and supported her.
Commercially Lucy became very aware of her business and spent more time enhancing business relationships and noted that the business referrals through these relationships were the key to keeping the business going, something that will strengthen post lockdown.
